Christmas
We had the most wonderful Christmas concert in our school on Wednesday. Mums, dads, brothers, sisters, grandparents and many more were treated to great music and fantastic story telling. Each play was extra special because every single child on stage did such a wonderful job.
Each play reminded us of the importance of Christmas and it was lovely to celebrate this special time of year as a school community. The magic was captured in these photos taken by a very talented parent (spot the photo taken by the less talented photographer!).

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Our school corridors are being transformed into a wonderful gallery of winter art.
Sports Day
The whole school got active on a truly summer sports day. We went to the Louis High School for relays, egg and spoon and the sack race. Back in the infant school we played with the parachute and dodge ball.
Visiting Rathmines Church
We were invited to visit St. Mary’s Church in Rathmines. Frank told us the history of the church and showed us around. We had a lovely time.
Here’s something the teacher learned: The dome of the church was originally meant for a church in Kiev.
March Fair
The March Fair is a day of fun, shopping and eating. We had a great day this year. Take a look at the amazing photographs.
Jake makes a return
Look who came back to see us…
Our old pal Jake and his lovely friend Fiona came from Dogs Trust to teach us all about owning a dog. We learned so much like:
- A dog needs to be walked 2 a day
- A dog needs to be fed 2 a day
- Dogs are just like us. They like to be warm, cosy and have lots of company.
Jake also learned how to ‘Give 5’ (all 4 paws on the floor – check. Ears open, mouth closed ready to listen -check. Sitting nicely – check. Eyes on teacher – check!) Wow, he’s a fast learner. He didn’t take his eyes off the teacher and she didn’t even have a ham sandwich in her hand!

We had a fabulous get together of family and friends in St. Louis on Friday. The boys and girls performed their Christmas plays and each and every one of them was magnificent. Well done!
